About Alex

A visual storyteller who balances authenticity with dreamy fantasy. Coming from a background working in commercial production and in social media campaigns, Alex finds portrait photography to be the most natural and effective way of conveying how he sees the world– and how other people wish to be seen.

When he’s not studying art and fashion for inspiration, Alex is spending time in nature to hike and camp, perfecting his pour-over coffee technique, or listening to as much new music as possible. He also loves traveling the world with his wife (see below).

About Arielle

A free spirit through and through, Arielle lives to the fullest with a zest for experiencing something new and exciting every day.

With her roots in nonprofit work, she focuses her time on how to use her can use her skills to enrich the world, whether it’s documenting charity events or raising awareness for rescue animals in need of a home.

When off the clock, Arielle focuses her creativity on the goal of “learning every craft”. She also loves to photograph wildlife with specialized lenses, listen to podcasts about true crime and culture, and play video games with her husband (see above).

About Zeke

Zeke is a city pigeon that was rescued and nursed back to health after a challenging winter. He’s since moved in with Alex and Arielle as their roommate, photography model and personal drone.

A cuddle bug and people person, Zeke likes taking long flights to the kitchen and sitting on people’s heads. He’s also very attuned to listening to people, and keeping his ears out for the magic word and his favorite food– peanuts!

(Yes, the camera in that photo is real– he’s a photographer too!)

About Opal

Opal is a fiercely adventurous pigeon that was bred to be white for a wedding release. While white pigeons and doves are beautiful - releasing captive birds into the wild is NOT.

After getting lost, she joined a flock of pigeons nearby the Hudson River, where Alex and Arielle scooped her up ASAP before any stray cats or bald eagles could.

Now incredibly bonded to Alex, Opal likes to eat (a lot), stomp around in fancy bird clothes, and watch TV by sitting on top of people’s heads.
